Excited to join the Bridge to Scale program by 1991 Accelerator and EBRD as a mentor 🌟

Bridge to Scale is a non-equity program helping Ukrainian founders across CEE and the EU strengthen their investment readiness and navigate scaling to global markets.

What the program offers

💡 Mentorship from VCs and experts across CEE, the UK and Europe.

🤝 Networking and warm intros to investors.

🚀 Practical sessions on investment readiness, business scaling and fundraising strategy.

🌍 An offline bootcamp in Warsaw and a Demo Day with international VCs.

💸 Selected startups will have a chance to apply for a business development grant from the EBRD, amounting to up to EUR 30,000 per project.

Who runs it

Bridge to Scale is run by 1991 Accelerator — Ukraine's leading accelerator, whose 100+ alumni startups have collectively raised more than $46 million. 1991 recently managed the $10 million Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund and launched London-based 1991 Ventures, which invests up to $500,000 in startups.

They know what it takes to help startups scale and secure deals.

Why I'm joining

As a mentor, I'm most interested in where people, capital and the market meet. Ukrainian founders have the technical capability, resilience and ambition — what's often needed is structure, network and the right questions at the right time to move from a local game to a global one.

This is exactly the kind of program the region needs right now: non-equity, practical support, serious mentors, real investors and real capital. Without the noise.
