For Accelerators

Visionary & strategic mentor turning complex challenges into actionable outcomes

Over 30 years of entrepreneurial and investment experience as an angel and VC — I convert abstract challenges into practical strategies, fast.

My broad expertise lets me quickly grasp diverse business models and industries, giving startups clear, executable guidance that bridges visionary ideas with executable plans.

Strategy – Processes – People always go together. For some reason this is rarely noticed. In my work as an advisor and mentor it's exactly the sync between these three that has delivered the most impactful results.

And you're right — team is everything! But the truth is, we actually don't know much about the team. Eeeeee… I do. I now have a tool sparkly.hr that answers the questions: Why do we have this problem? Why is there a conflicting person on the team? How do we solve it?

Why mentor startups for accelerators and advise startups/SMEs directly?

Because my brain needs challenges to evolve and stay sharp.

What I enjoy doing

To provide rapid impact for those who have lost the sight. To craft visions and technically doable new approaches that solve challenges. To identify bottlenecks that squeeze growth in future.

  • 1:1 dedicated mentoring for a 1–18-month mentoring period.
  • 1:many mentoring sessions of 30 min – 2 h per startup, up to 9 startups per day.
  • Joint mentoring following the given programme, goals and/or milestones.
  • Keynote on team dynamics assessment. This topic is close to my own pain-points. I share expertise with software support.
  • Keynote on how to make a compelling pitch deck that converts. Being an angel and VC has taught me to look at what matters from a different perspective.
  • Keynote on custom topic. I love challenges, and if the topic fits my previous experience I'm in. Just ask. Note! I won't speak about something I haven't yet got insight into.

Types of partners

My main criterion is providing value to recipients — it has to make sense within their needs or educational programme. My expenses should be covered, but my primary agenda is not selling hours — it's delivering the impact.

  • State- or EU-initiated focus accelerators. Over longer periods I can deliver more value, so these are more enjoyable for me.
  • Private and VC-initiated accelerators. I can take dedicated startups or work in groups across hours, days, weeks or months.
  • Hackathon mentoring events — rapid early-stage ideation and fast solutions aligned with my expectation to see results in hours, not days.
  • University startup mentoring. Perhaps the most rewarding — guiding young people to ask the right questions and having them grab my sleeve years later at a conference, thanking me for advice given at the right time.
  • University startup programmes. Happy to fill gaps with topics that need covering jointly with other mentors, sharing the workload.
