What I enjoy doing
To provide rapid impact for those who have lost the sight. To craft visions and technically doable new approaches that solve challenges. To identify bottlenecks that squeeze growth in future.
1:1 dedicated mentoring for 1-18 months mentoring period.
1:many mentoring sessions for 30min - 2h sessions per startup, in total up to 9 startups per day.
Joint mentoring following given program, goals and/or milestones.
Keynote on team dynamics assessment. This topic is close to my own pain-points. I can share my expertise with a software support.
Keynote on how to make a compelling pitch deck that converts. Being an angel and VC have taught me to look at what matters from different perspective.
Keynote on custom topic. I love challenges, and if the topic assimilates with my previous experiences then I am in. Just ask.

Types of partners
My main criteria is to provide value to recipients, it has to make sense fitting their needs or educational program.
My expenses should be covered, yet my primary agenda is not selling hours, but focus on delivering the impact.
State or EU initiated focus accelerators. Over longer periods it's higher chance to deliver more value, therefore these are more enjoyable for me.
Private and VC initiated accelerators. I can take dedicated startups or work in groups over hours, days, weeks or months.
Hackathon mentoring events provide rapid early stage ideation and rapid solutions developments that are aligned with my expectation to see results in hours not days.
University startups mentoring. This is perhaps the most rewarding to guide youngsters to ask right questions and have them grab my sleeve years later at conference thanking for great advice given at the right time.
University startups programs. Am happy to fill gaps with topics necessary to cover jointly with other mentors sharing the work load.

The European Innovation Academy offers universities a chance to give students a hands-on business experience. Over three weeks in Porto, Portugal, 50+ mentors supported 500+ students in forming 100+ startups from scratch. As a Business and Tech mentor, I worked with ~20 teams, transforming early ideas into solid concepts in just 24 hours. This experience sharpened my ability to guide teams at the idea, pre-MVP, and pre-seed stages while learning alongside the students. Grateful for this incredible opportunity!
KIUAS is a Finnish accelerator formed by Aalto University. By far their choice of startups was the strongest ever at this pre-seed stage.Some feedback KIUAS mentees gave: Mikk is cautious of investing in prototype phase. I've been lucky to participate in Enterprise Estonia multiple accelration programs. At times as mentee. Later on as a mentor, working with SME scale-ups, startups and shortly for the local Shark Tank program Ajujaht. EAS has given me an opportunity to master may coaching skills the resulted with receiving a challnging executive business coach certificate. Together with BDA Consulting I had the opportunity to mentor Estonian torusim sector various enterpises to improve their businesses following Business Canvas methodology. Interesting and sometimes even quite challenging projects grow and to learn about myself. Gratful for the opportunity.
VVT hired me to mentor business unit in a Estonian Aviation Network Service. This 6 months mentoring program made me realize how much I had learnt from my own career over 20 years, as a business owner, board member, strategy designed, sales manager, HR manager, conflict mitigator, business designer, and obviously as a coach. Honoured being picked to work with such a company with such a unit. VVT held very professional trainings for all mentors to prepare us for the company needs.

ECONIC accelerator offers company-building expertise and guidance through a 9-month long program with an effective and gradual selection process. It consists of three stages and those selected will be provided captial and services along the program stage by stage. My role there was to support and challenge fantastic startup founders at various stage. High quality selection of companies. One of the best led events during my mentoring career.
